How to Measure Your Wrist for a Bracelet
To measure your wrist for a bracelet, you only need a few simple household supplies.
Supplies:
- Flexible measuring tape (or a piece of string, ribbon, or cord)
- Ruler (only needed if using string instead of a measuring tape)
Steps:
- Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your wrist just below the wrist bone.
- Keep the tape snug but not tight, you should be able to rotate it comfortably around your wrist.
- Read the number where the tape meets its starting point. This is your wrist circumference.
- Match your wrist circumference to the bracelet size chart above to find your size.
- Check the fit by sliding one finger between the bracelet and your skin. A properly sized bracelet should move slightly on your wrist without slipping off your hand.
If you don't have a measuring tape, wrap a piece of string or ribbon around your wrist, mark where it overlaps, then lay it flat and measure the length with a ruler.
You can also measure a bracelet that already fits you well by laying it flat and measuring its full length.
